Doug and Stefanie, longtime friends of my family, came out to Victoria with their Mustang convertible. They recently bought the Mustang and are very proud of it, and I can’t blame them. I really enjoyed cruising around Victoria in a convertible. I took them to Beacon Hill Park and then along Dallas Rd. backdropped by Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains. They also brought Mickey (Mouse) along as he is a staple in many of their photos from their travels. I had a ton of fun shooting this session and I hope that others will have cool cars for me to photograph in the future.

I spent a beautiful day down at Eau Claire and Prince’s Island Park in Calgary last Friday with Lori, her adorable daughter Ella, and mom Marie. They had fun at the playground and took a nice walk to the island while I got to document their time together. It was a great afternoon filled with lots of good memories!

There are many reasons why I love Twitter, but the main reason is because of how easy it is to connect with people. Andrea Paquette (@BipolarBabe) was putting together promotional photoshoot for her Bipolar Babe project and was in need of a photographer. She posted about her situation, and Janis La Couvée (@lacouvee) saw her tweet and connected us together. It was a perfect fit. Andrea is such a fun person and was looking for some fun shots she could use for her website and other promotional materials. I absolutely love what she is doing with the Bipolar Babe project, bringing awareness into schools and “facilitating stigma free conversations about mental illnesses”. Her story is very inspirational and I urge you check it out for yourself.

Big thanks to everyone involved for making this shoot so awesome!
